Terms of Service
Last updated: June 2026
Section 01
Agreement to Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Meetmy. By creating an account or using the Services, you agree to them. They form a binding agreement between you and Meetmy Inc.("Meetmy", "we", "us").
Meetmy is an online venue where independent providers ("Creators") offer and deliver one-on-one sessions to clients ("Clients"). Meetmy provides the booking, payment, and video infrastructure only. Meetmy is not the provider of the sessions and does not employ, supervise, direct, or vet Creators.
These Terms are the shared base for everyone. Depending on how you use Meetmy, additional terms apply:
- If you book sessions, you also agree to the For Clients terms.
- If you offer sessions, you also agree to the For Creators terms.
Where the For Clients or For Creators terms address a matter specific to that role, they control over these Terms for that role; otherwise these Terms govern.

Section 02
Eligibility & Your Account
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to create an account or use the Services. (Conduct rules about content appear in Acceptable Use below; this clause concerns age only.)
You agree to:
- Provide accurate, complete information and keep it current
- Keep your login credentials secure and confidential
- Not share your account with others
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
- Take responsibility for all activity under your account
Electronic acceptance: You consent to transact electronically. Clicking to accept, or continuing to use the Services, creates a binding agreement and an electronic record of your acceptance under the E-SIGN Act and UETA.
You may close your account at any time (see Suspension & Termination). Outstanding sessions and balances are settled per these Terms and the applicable role terms.
Section 03
Acceptable Use
You agree to use Meetmy only for lawful purposes. You may not:
- Engage in fraud, impersonation, or deceptive practices
- Post or deliver illegal, harassing, hateful, threatening, defamatory, sexually explicit or adult, infringing, or malicious content or services
- Infringe the intellectual-property or privacy rights of others
- Hack, disrupt, scrape, or use bots or automated access without permission
- Send spam or unsolicited messages
- Maintain multiple accounts to evade limits or manipulate the platform
One account per person unless we agree otherwise, and you are responsible for your account's security. We may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, and may take legal action for serious violations.
Section 04
Your Content & License
Ownership: You retain ownership of content you upload, including profile information, messages, reviews, photos, and video.
License to Meetmy: You grant Meetmy a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, reproduce, and adapt your content to operate and promote the Services, including in marketing materials. This promotional license covers profile and storefront content you provide; it does not cover recordings of sessions, and any use of a Client's name or testimonial requires that Client's separate consent.
After you close your account we will cease new promotional use; materials already published or cached by third parties may persist and need not be recalled.
You represent and warrant that:
- You own or have the rights to all content you upload
- Your content does not infringe third-party rights or violate any law
- Your content is accurate and not misleading, and contains no malware
We may remove content that violates these Terms without notice.
Copyright (DMCA): We respond to copyright notices under the DMCA. Send notices to [email protected]. We remove infringing content on valid notice, support counter-notices, and terminate repeat infringers.
Feedback: If you send us suggestions, you grant us a perpetual, royalty-free right to use them without obligation to you.
Section 05
Privacy & Data
We handle personal data as described in our Privacy Policy, including sharing with the service providers needed to operate the platform (for example, payment, video and calendar, email, and analytics providers). Please review the Privacy Policy for complete details.
Section 06
Platform Rights & Availability
We may add, modify, or discontinue features. While we strive for continuous availability, we do not guarantee uninterrupted access and may suspend the Services for:
- Scheduled maintenance and updates
- Emergency repairs or security issues
- Technical difficulties beyond our control
- Legal or regulatory requirements
Section 07
Payments
Payments are processed by our third-party payment processor (Stripe); by paying, you also accept the processor's terms.
Currency: All amounts are in USD unless stated otherwise. Your bank may apply currency-conversion or foreign-transaction fees outside our control.
Taxes: Prices may exclude applicable taxes, which are added at checkout where required. You are responsible for your own taxes.
Role-specific fee detail is in the For Clients and For Creators terms.
Section 08
Disclaimers
The Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied (including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose). We do not guarantee uninterrupted, secure, or error-free operation, or any particular results.
Platform role: Meetmy provides the platform only. Sessions are delivered by independent Creators. Meetmy is not a party to, and does not guarantee, the services between Creator and Client, and is not responsible for their quality, safety, legality, conduct, or outcomes.
Section 09
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Meetmy's total aggregate liability for any claims arising from these Terms or the Services will not exceed the greater of (a) US$100 or (b) the fees you paid Meetmy in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, gross negligence, or willful misconduct, or for any non-waivable consumer rights.
Section 10
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Meetmy and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from:
- Your use of the Services
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of the rights of any third party
- Content you upload or share
Role-specific indemnities for Creators appear in the For Creators terms.
Section 11
Suspension & Termination
You may close your account at any time by emailing [email protected]. We may suspend or terminate immediately for cause — including violations, fraud, chargebacks, or legal risk — and otherwise at our discretion.
On closure:
- Pending bookings are handled per the applicable booking policies
- A Creator should withdraw any remaining balance (see the For Creators terms)
- We may retain records as required by law or for legitimate operational needs
Section 12
Dispute Resolution & Arbitration
Informal resolution first: Before formal action, contact [email protected] with a description of the dispute and your contact details. The parties will try in good faith to resolve it for 30 days.
Binding individual arbitration: Unresolved disputes are resolved by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules for consumer disputes, seated in Delaware, USA, with hearings available in or near the consumer's home county or by video. For consumer disputes, Meetmy pays the AAA filing and administration fees the rules require.
30-day opt-out: You may opt out of arbitration by emailing [email protected] within 30 days of first accepting these Terms. Opting out does not affect the rest of these Terms.
Carve-outs: Either party may bring a qualifying claim in small-claims court and may seek injunctive relief for intellectual-property misuse in court.
Class-action waiver: Claims must be brought individually, not as a plaintiff or member of any class or representative proceeding. This waiver is non-severable: if it is found unenforceable, this arbitration section does not apply and disputes proceed in the courts identified in Governing Law & Forum — there is no class arbitration.
Mass filings: If 25 or more similar demands are filed with coordinated counsel, the parties will follow the AAA's mass-arbitration and batching procedures.
Section 13
Governing Law & Forum
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Subject to the arbitration section above, the state and federal courts located in Delaware have exclusive jurisdiction, and you consent to that venue.
Section 14
Consumers in the EEA & UK
If you are a consumer resident in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, nothing in these Terms removes mandatory rights you have under your local law, and you may bring proceedings in your local courts under your local law. The arbitration, class-waiver, governing-law, and liability provisions apply only to the extent permitted there.
You may have a statutory right to withdraw from a purchase within 14 days. By booking and receiving a session you request immediate performance and acknowledge that the withdrawal right ends once the session has been delivered.
Section 15
Sanctions & Export
You represent that you are not located in, or a national of, any country subject to a US embargo, and that you are not on any US government denied-party or sanctions list.
Section 16
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms. Changes are posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date and are effective on posting.
Exception: changes to fees, payout terms, or referral-commission rates take effect 7 days after we notify you by email or dashboard notice, and rates you have already earned are not changed retroactively.
Changes are prospective only and do not affect disputes already accrued. Your continued use of the Services after the effective date constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Services and close your account.
Section 17
General
- Notices: We may give notice to the email on your account, deemed received when sent.
- Assignment: We may assign these Terms, including in a merger, acquisition, or reorganization; you may not assign your account without our consent.
- Force majeure: We are not liable for failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including third-party service outages, disasters, or war. This does not excuse accrued payment obligations.
- Limitation period: Any claim must be brought within one year of accrual, where such a limit is permitted by law.
- Severability: If any provision is unenforceable, the rest remain in effect (the arbitration section has its own severance rule).
- Entire agreement: These Terms, the applicable role terms, and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and Meetmy.
- Survival: The content license tail, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, dispute resolution, governing law, and this General section survive termination.
- No third-party beneficiaries, except the indemnified parties named above.
