Account Information

When you sign up, we collect your name and email. You can sign in using a one-time passcode (OTP) sent to your email or via Google Sign-in.

Profile Information

You can add profile photos, videos, bio, pricing, availability, booking preferences, and notes. This helps make the platform more useful for everyone.

Usage Data

We collect information about how you use Meetmy: sessions booked, pages viewed, features used, and time spent. This helps us understand what's working and what needs improvement.

Technical Data

We automatically collect your IP address, browser type, device information, and operating system. This helps us fix bugs, prevent fraud, and keep the platform secure.

Payment Information

Payments are processed securely through Stripe. We don't store your full credit card numbers — only basic transaction history needed for accounting and support. If you're receiving payments, we also collect payout details through Stripe and PayPal.

We use your information to:

• Run the platform — Create accounts, process bookings, handle payments, and manage sessions
• Improve Meetmy — Understand how people use the platform and build better features
• Communicate with you — Send booking confirmations, important updates, and occasional product news (you can opt out)
• Keep things secure — Detect fraud, prevent abuse, and protect your account
• Comply with laws — Meet legal obligations and respond to valid legal requests

We don't sell your data. We only share it when necessary:

Service Providers

We work with trusted partners who help us run Meetmy — like Stripe for payments and PayPal for payouts, Google Analytics for usage insights, and email providers for notifications. They can only use your data to help us provide the service.

Between Users

When you book a session, the service provider sees your name and booking details. When users find you, they see your public profile. This is essential for the platform to work.

Legal Requirements

We may disclose data if required by law, to protect our rights, or to prevent harm. We'll push back on unreasonable requests and notify you when legally possible.

You have control over your data. You can:

• Access your data — Request a copy of all the information we have about you
• Correct your data — Update inaccurate or incomplete information anytime
• Delete your data — Request account deletion (we'll keep some data as legally required)
• Export your data — Get your data in a portable format to move elsewhere
• Opt out of marketing — Unsubscribe from promotional emails (you'll still get important account emails)

We take security seriously. Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We use industry-standard practices to protect against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse.

That said, no system is 100% secure. While we do everything we can to protect your data, we can't guarantee absolute security. Keep your email account secure, as it's used for authentication to Meetmy.

We keep your data as long as your account is active, plus a reasonable period afterward for legal and business purposes (like tax records and dispute resolution).

When you delete your account, we'll remove your personal information within 30 days, except what we're legally required to keep. Anonymized data may be retained for analytics.

We use cookies to keep you logged in, remember your preferences, and understand how people use Meetmy. You can control cookies through your browser settings, but some features may not work without them.

We use Google Analytics to understand usage patterns. This helps us improve the platform. You can opt out of Google Analytics using browser extensions.

Meetmy operates globally. Your data may be transferred to and stored in countries outside where you live, including the United States and United Kingdom. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place when transferring data across borders.

Meetmy is not intended for anyone under 18. We don't knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has created an account, please let us know and we'll delete it.

We may update this policy as Meetmy evolves. When we make significant changes, we'll notify you via email and update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continuing to use Meetmy after changes means you accept the updated policy.
